Job description
Modularization and DI:You will navigate a project of 50+ feature modules. We use Dagger/Anvil for DI and are currently evaluating Metro to further optimize our build times and leverage its latest features.
- Quality first: We maintain 70% test coverage using practices like snapshot testing and integration tests in our daily development. Final release checks are performed by running E2E tests (via Maestro) and manual regression testing.
- Production Stability: You will use our crash and performance monitoring systems to ensure your features run smoothly for our millions of users.
What You Will Do

You´ll drive high-quality product experiences while helping the team grow. To do so, you will:

Build and maintain feature modules owned by your team, acting as the guardian of their quality.

Work with a cross-functional team (Product, Design, Backend) to help define and implement new features. Ensure initiatives are aligned with both technical best practices and product goals.- Act as a technical reference for your team and share your experience with other Android Engineers across the Tribe.

Help improve our architecture, tooling, and performance practices.

Mentor your peers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. Apply a product-first mindset, balancing user value with technical excellence.
Requirements
Strong experience building top-tier Android apps using technologies like Kotlin, Coroutines, Anvil, and Compose.
- An excellent Computer Science foundation (data structures, algorithms, software design).
- Experience working in large modular codebases shared by multiple teams.
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
- The ability to balance technical trade-offs with product impact.
- Strong communication skills and a growth mindset, with an openness to learning and knowledge sharing.
What Would Be A Plus (optional***)
- Experience implementing a Design System.
- Experience with the Gradle build system and CI automation.
- Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
- A specific passion for accessibility standards and inclusive design.
Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.
