Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions. This role bridges the gap between business vision and technical execution, ensuring architectural consistency, system quality, and alignment with strategic goals., Working across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), modern backend frameworks (e.g., Java, Node.js), and enterprise systems, the ideal candidate will guide teams in delivering robust and future-ready architectures. The architect will drive best practices, mentor development teams, and ensure solutions are aligned with security, compliance, and integration standards., · Architectural Leadership

o Design scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.

o Help identify optimisations and innovations possible

o Develop architectural standards, design patterns, and governance models.

· Solution Development & Guidance

o Support application development teams with high-level solution design and technical direction.

o Review architecture and technical designs to ensure performance, resilience, scalability,...

o Advise on trade-offs and architectural decisions throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

· Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

o Work closely with business, product, and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural solutions.

o Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to integrate CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation.

o Facilitate architecture reviews, design workshops, and cross-functional discussions.

· Solution Delivery Support

o Guide development teams during build and implementation phases.

o Support issue resolution and performance tuning across platforms and components.

o Contribute to disaster recovery, high availability, and security architecture planning.

· Innovation & Best Practices

o Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to enterprise goals.

o Champion the adoption of modern architecture practices including microservices, API-first design, and cloud-native principles.

o Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

10+ years in software architecture/design, including 3-5 years as a lead or solution architect.

· Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade systems.

· Hands-on expertise in Java or Node.js-based architectures.

· Background in systems integration, data architecture, or modern application development practices.

Technical Skills:

· Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.

· Experience with API-driven design, microservices, and event-driven or service-oriented architecture (SOA).

· Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, monitoring, and performance optimization strategies.

· Solid grasp of architectural concerns such as scalability, fault tolerance, security, and compliance.

Soft Skills:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

· Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams, mentoring engineers, and influencing technical direction.

Preferred Skills:

· Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or TOGAF.

· Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.

· Familiarity with tools like Terraform, or other IaC platforms.

· Background in digital transformation, modernization, or legacy system integration.
