Middle PythonReact Engineer

Engineers on this team work on distributed systems event-driven pipelines and high-availability services with a strong emphasis on correctness auditability and operational excellence. You'll collaborate closely with product compliance and other platform teams while helping shape foundational systems in a greenfield environment. This is a high-impact opportunity to apply deep backend expertise in Python and Kotlin to systems that matter to both customers and the business.

What Youll Do :

With the support of your team's tech lead and manager you will break down larger projects into individual tasks, deliver them in multiple phases and collaborate with others to ensure timely delivery of your work.

You will partner with other members of the B&H team to deliver on the tasks assigned to you by the tech lead or manager.

You are comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others code and providing feedback to other engineers through code reviews.

You have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team.

What We Look For :

We are looking for Backend engineers who can contribute to backend services and pipelines.

You have a total of 2 years of experience as a software engineer.

You have experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.

Having front end experience in React is a bonus.

You have experience creating tests using JUnits WireMocks

You are familiar with the building blocks of distributed systems and the technologies like AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.

You have mastered taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components and executing on it by writing clear, easily understood, well-tested and extensible code.

You have solid experience working with source control systems like Git and GitHub and understand how to create, update and commit pull requests., Key Skills: APIs, Docker, Jenkins, REST, Python, AWS, NoSQL, MySQL, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Django, GIT
