Database Administrator (Remote)

• Design, implement, and manage high-performance Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Optimize queries, indexes, and stored procedures for performance and scalability.
• Administer Azure SQL Server and Azure Managed Instance, ensuring security and availability.
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS ETL packages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, replication failures, and security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on database optimization and structure.
• Ensure compliance with database security best practices and industry standards.
• Lead database migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption initiatives.

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.

Location: 100% Remote (Spain-based candidates only). High level of English is required., * 7+ years in database engineering, administration, and performance tuning.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures).
• Proficiency in SSRS and SSIS.
• Advanced skills in query optimization and execution plan analysis.
• Solid understanding of database security, auditing, and compliance.
• Knowledge of Python and/or PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure Managed Instance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle database administration.
• Experience with cloud-native database solutions and automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD for database deployments.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases and hybrid cloud environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
• Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional.
