Enterprise (Senior) Architect

As an (Senior) Consultant specialized in Enterprise Architecture - SAP and Data Platforms, you will support clients in designing and implementing next-generation IT architectures that enable agility, scalability, and business transformation. You will work at the crossroads of ERP modernization, data strategy, and cloud transformation, helping organizations build the foundations for intelligent, data-driven enterprises. Working closely with BCG and BCG Platinion teams, you will assess existing IT landscapes, identify architectural pain points, and contribute to defining target architectures and transformation roadmaps that align technology with strategic business goals. You will help design and deliver transformation initiatives such as SAP S/4HANA migrations, data platform modernization, and integration of cloud and analytics capabilities. You will collaborate with client IT and business teams to ensure coherence between enterprise architecture, data management, and application ecosystems. Your role will also include translating complex architecture concepts into actionable initiatives that drive measurable business impact. You will contribute to BCG Platinion's Enterprise Architecture and Data agenda by:

• Supporting the design and delivery of architecture blueprints and modernization strategies across ERP and data domains.
• Contributing to business development through proposal support, client engagement, and thought leadership.
• Participating in internal initiatives to strengthen Platinion's expertise in SAP, data architecture, and enterprise transformation.

• 3-7 years of experience in IT consulting, enterprise architecture, or technology delivery, ideally within a top-tier consultancy, a tech company, or the IT department of a large organization.
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and their application in complex environments involving ERP (SAP) and data platform modernization.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, including system integration, data migration, and landscape simplification.
• Exposure to data platform architectures (data lake, data mesh, analytics platforms) and their alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Ability to assess existing IT landscapes, identify simplification and modernization opportunities, and support the definition of target architectures connecting ERP, data, and business platforms.
• Understanding of cloud-based architectures and how SAP and data ecosystems evolve within hybrid or multicloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset - able to translate business requirements into scalable, robust, and integrated architecture solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity, initiative, and drive to contribute to innovation and internal knowledge building in Enterprise Architecture, SAP, and Data domains.
• High ethical standards and professionalism, ensuring trust, confidentiality, and collaboration in all engagements.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with strong academic performance.
