Job description
We are hiring a System Architect in Spatial Data Processing to join our Space Business Unit within the Image Skills Center. This center provides expertise in remote sensing and satellite image processing.
CS GROUP is one of Europe's leading players in spatial data processing and dissemination. We contribute to major European Earth observation programs in collaboration with French (CNES) and European (ESA, EUMETSAT) space agencies. We are involved in the definition phases, development of image processing chains (PDGS), and data exploitation by end users.
You will be involved in early project phases (A, B), defining functional and technical architectures. You will join the enthusiastic Earth Observation team based in Toulouse, France.
Your Responsibilities

Define system architectures for data segments

Analyze or define data product standards and processing chains

Define functional and technical specifications for image processing chains

Define functional and technical specifications for dissemination architectures

Develop validation plans for architectures

Conduct technology watch and explore solutions for image processing

Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline is required (Bac+5)
- You have at least 5 years of experience in spatial data processing chains, from raw satellite data to end-user delivery;
- You have contributed to several space projects involving image processing and dissemination. You are familiar with product and processing standardization processes;
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
