- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, including applications like Microsoft Office.
- Manage computer hardware setups, upgrades, repairs, and inventory control to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure and maintain network connectivity including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and network switches.
- Support IT infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server environments, SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira for ticketing and incident management.
- Assist with computer management tasks like user account creation/deletion in Active Directory and deploying updates via SCCM or other tools.
- Collaborate with network administration teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize network performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, incident reports, and asset records to ensure compliance and efficient problem resolution.
- Communicate effectively with users at all levels to understand issues clearly and provide timely solutions that enhance user productivity.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in operating systems including Windows (especially Windows 10/11), macOS, and Linux environments.
- Solid knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN setup, firewall configuration, and network security best practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise tools like Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server administration, SCCM, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking.
- Experience supporting mobile devices and managing IT infrastructure components within a corporate environment.
- Strong analysis skills to diagnose complex issues quickly and accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
