Job description
The Money & Materials (M&M) Crew is looking for a talented software engineer to strengthen our team! Our mission is to develop and maintain (custom) software that seamlessly connects our financial, procurement and logistics systems. It's all about Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Fulltime / Parttime · Drukwerkdeal, Deventer
We are currently transitioning to SAP, as our ERP system, and we need an extra software engineer to help make this transition smooth and efficient.
Requirements
Ideally, you have:
- 3 - 4 years+ of software engineering experience, preferably in a Node.js environment.
- Knowledge of financial, procurement and logistics processes.
- Experience implementing interfaces that push business data to SAP.
- Familiarity with SCRUM and agile methodologies.
- Knowledgeable in the e-commerce domain.
As an SAP BTP Specialist, you combine a solid foundation in software engineering with a deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) architecture. You are comfortable translating functional requirements into robust technical solutions and have a strong grasp of business processes in areas like Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics. Your work contributes directly to process optimization and improved user experiences. You act as a crucial link between IT and the business, communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders-from developers to functional consultants, and departments such as Finance, Production, Purchasing, and Logistics. You facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to help functional colleagues get the most out of SAP BTP. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
You are analytical and creative, capable of tackling complex challenges and designing scalable, future-proof solutions. You proactively spot bottlenecks and improvement opportunities within the IT landscape and think outside the box to address software-related issues. Your solutions always consider both functional and non-functional requirements.
Experience with technologies such as CAP, UI5, Fiori, and OData services-as well as cloud-native development and S/4HANA integration-is highly valued. Familiarity with ABAP Cloud development, SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh is also a plus. However, we also encourage candidates with less experience in these specific tools to apply. Enthusiasm for learning and a strong problem-solving mindset are just as important.
