Job description
As Manager IT SRE Operations, you will oversee the strategy and development of essential IT systems that ensure seamless telecom service delivery. You will lead the operations of mission-critical systems like BSS, OSS, and customer platforms, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals. Your role will involve setting the strategic direction for IT applications, driving modernization, and managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.

You will also integrate new technologies, such as AI, to improve network monitoring, customer support, and system performance. With your hands-on leadership, you will ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems, drive continuous improvement, and develop your team to excel in their roles. Your ability to manage vendor relationships, ensure operational excellence, and present KPIs to leadership will set the standard for performance. You will play a crucial role in managing service reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, while contributing to the strategic growth of the company., With 12-15 years of experience in IT operations and SRE roles, specializing in telecom (mobile/broadband) and 9 years of leadership, you're skilled in networking technologies like:
- LTE, 5G, GPON for robust connectivity
- AWS, Azure, GCP for cloud platforms
- Prometheus, Grafana, ELK for monitoring stacks
- Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible for scripting and automation
You know SRE inside out, from designing SLOs/SLIs to managing incident response, and have integrated AI/ML and GenAI into workflows. With ITIL, cloud, SRE, and Agile certifications, you excel at leadership, project management, and communication. Also, you think strategically, make technical work drive business goals, collaborate to find creative solutions, and help your team perform at their best. And yes, you lead with empathy, make clear decisions, stay genuine, and somehow balance managing and coaching while communicating confidently in person and online.
