Job description

In this assignment, you will operate within a dynamic environment where innovation is fundamental. As a Backend Developer with a primary focus on .Net back-end development, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of the 'Mijn Vattenfall zakelijk' (MVZ) portal, as well as the integration of other systems with the MVZ platform. You will collaborate within an Agile team consisting of a back-end developer, a Full Stack developer, a tester, a business analyst, a UX designer, and a Product Owner. The team works from the Amsterdam Zuid-Oost office two days per week, typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays, to hold refinement sessions and stand-up meetings.

Main responsibilities

Contribute code to the development of the solution, through local builds and deployments as well as the CI/CD environments.
Building APIs and connect with different systems.
Capim integration
Familiar with an Agile way of working
Help Vattenfall grow their software engineering capabilities by contributing to coding norms & standards, software design best practices, and system architecture (help improving also).

Requirements

University or College of Higher Education degree in information technology, mathematics, engineering or related subjects (or comparable training).
Knowledge of MS Azure is required
A proven business acumen, and a profound interest in driving value-creating innovation
Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English.
Structured way of working.
Experience with integrating (mobile) applications and backend-systems.
