Job description
Location: Bristol up to 5 days on site with dynamic working (No start and finish time, 37 hours within the week and Clearance: British citizen or dual UK national. Security checks required. Travel requirements: Some abroad travel with expensed weekly return or free time over the weekend. Some trips can be opted out of and flexibility offered. Copello is seeking a number of Systems Proving Engineers to support a leading defence partner within their Naval-Based Air Defence domain. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working on high-profile integration, proving and trials activities. What you'll be doing
- Planning, preparing and executing system trials across exciting projects both in Bristol and abroad (optional).
- Generating trials documentation and supporting Trials Readiness Reviews
- Conducting data analysis and reporting following trials
- Supporting and conducting a range of trials including laboratory integration, ground, harbour, sea and firing trials (UK and overseas)
- Ensuring accurate data capture and supporting resolution of design issues
- Assisting with lab management activities, safety processes, and hardware/software configuration control
Requirements
- System integration, design proving or trials
- Naval integration or missile systems test
- System assessment, acceptance or design verification
- Electrical/mechanical build and interfacing
- Electronic design/test or network integration
