Systems Integration & Validation Engineer

We're looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our Integration & Systems Validation team. You'll be part of a fast-paced environment, working with cutting-edge simulation systems that integrate real products, models, and synthetic environments.

This role offers the chance to work across the full product lifecycle from concept demonstration and product development to systems integration and customer trials in a dynamic Digital Battlespace Facility.

What you'll do:

• Plan, conduct, and report on software testing and validation for complex systems.
• Investigate software defects, analyse logs/data, and execute formal qualification testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners to support integration, trials, and demonstrations.
• Produce clear test reports and support software delivery and certification.

• Experience in functional or software testing, verification & validation (V&V), or systems proving.
• Strong problem-solving and self-management skills.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools such as Python, GitLab, Jenkins, DOORS, JIRA, ALM/PLM, Excel/macros, or similar.

Desirable:

• Understanding of software simulation/emulation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• ISTQB or other software testing certifications.
