Job description

an inclusive workplace, and our employees are comfortable bringing their authentic, whole selves to work. Everyone is welcome. Be you. This means we're excited to hear from people with a range of skills, experiences, and ideas. We don't expect you to tick all the boxes, but would love to hear what makes you great for this role. Some of the great things you'll be doing: * Work with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Engineering Leadership to design solutions, considering both technical and operational considerations. * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across the company to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks. * Take ownership of key aspects of the development lifecycle, from design to implementation, testing, security, and maintenance. * Ensure testing and security standards are well integrated into the software your team produces. * Actively participate in the engineering community to develop and share knowledge. * Participate in design reviews

Requirements

prototyping new technologies, and evaluating technical feasibility with peers and colleagues. * Help ensure technology and service readiness for production environments. * Effectively engage in your team's software development practices, such as pair programming, code reviews, documentation, and continuous delivery. * Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment. What we'd like to see from you: * Experience building scalable, reliable, and maintainable software and services. * Exposure to headless technologies or APIs. * A willingness to learn and expand your knowledge in the mobile space. * Familiarity with security engineering practices and methods. * A strong foundation in your chosen technical domain, with the flexibility to adapt to new technologies. * A proactive, creative problem solver who works effectively within a team. * Experience with agile methodologies and lean thinking. * Active interest in continuous learning and self-development, both technically and professionally. Our people bring our purpose to life. We champion a culture of innovation and challenge. We have over 300 tech experts across our teams, all using the latest tools and technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, Java, Scala, Python, .Net Core, Node.js, and MongoDB. There's something for everyone. We're a place of opportunity. You'll have the tools and autonomy to drive your own career, supported by a team of talented people. And then there's our benefits. For us, it's not just about a competitive salary and hybrid working - we care about what matters to you. From a generous holiday allowance and private healthcare to an electric car scheme and paid development, wellbeing, and CSR days, we've pretty much got you covered! #LI-HL1
