Data Manager

As the Data Manager you will be the central point for all school data overseeing its collection analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for the accuracy and security of all student information ensuring it is used effectively to support teaching and learning. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing the schools Management Information System (MIS) which is the core database for all student information.
• Generating and analyzing a variety of data reports including those on student attendance behaviour academic progress and attainment.
• Leading on the production of statutory returns such as the School Census and ensuring all data is compliant with GDPR regulations.
• Providing training and support to staff on the effective use of data systems and reports.
• Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other departments to provide strategic data analysis that informs school improvement planning.

A strong working knowledge of common school MIS software such as SIMS Arbor or Bromcom is highly desirable.
