Network & Infrastructure Engineer

Tektora is supporting a secure programme of work that requires an experienced Deployment Engineer to deliver across multiple phases of a high-profile infrastructure rollout. You'll work hands-on with Juniper networking technologies and SolarWinds monitoring solutions, taking projects from detailed design right through to deployment, testing, and handover. This is a fast-moving, high-security environment where attention to detail and precision delivery are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

Juniper Network Deployment

• Translate project requirements into clear, detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
• Produce build guides and service documentation to support smooth delivery
• Stage, configure, and deploy Juniper devices in line with project milestones
• Carry out structured testing and validation within a secure data centre
• Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance and address remediation actions

SolarWinds Monitoring Solutions

• Design, configure, and document SolarWinds Observability/NPM environments
• Implement SNMP and syslog filtering aligned to operational requirements
• Build and configure servers to host monitoring platforms
• Create tailored dashboards that provide meaningful service insights
• Support software import and licensing processes in coordination with procurement

Additional (Desirable) Technical Scope

• Deployment and configuration of VMware Horizon, NTP, and Cisco ISE
• Testing, staging, and documenting additional platform builds

• Strong background deploying Juniper infrastructure in enterprise or secure settings
• Proven experience with SolarWinds Observability and/or NPM
• Skilled in producing LLDs, build documentation, and testing scripts
• Knowledge of working to strict security and compliance frameworks
• Clear communicator with the ability to liaise across technical and non-technical teams

Bonus Points For

• Experience in MOD or other public sector environments
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE and VMware Horizon
• Understanding of infrastructure security best practice
