AI/ML Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI / Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions that support business objectives and drive data-driven decision making.

This is a fully remote role within the UK, open to professionals across a wide range of experience levels, from early-career engineers to senior specialists., * Design, develop, and implement machine learning and AI models for real-world applications

• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model deployment
• Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI/ML solutions
• Train, evaluate, tune, and optimise models for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Deploy models into production and support monitoring, retraining, and model lifecycle management
• Apply best practices for model governance, explainability, and responsible AI
• Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing

• 1 15 years of professional experience in AI, Machine Learning, or related engineering roles
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data modelling
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (Git, code reviews, testing)
• Experience deploying ML models into production environments
• Experience with Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, or Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, distributed computing)
• Understanding of data privacy, security, and GDPR compliance
• Relevant certifications or advanced academic background in AI/ML
