Job description

At Navos Technologies, we don't just maintain legacy code - we architect new solutions. From complex financial services systems to immersive virtual reality experiences, we work across an array of industries. Tasks

We are looking for a pragmatic Full Stack Engineer to join our Bristol-based team. You will be involved from the very start - taking projects from the ideation stage, through architecture, to delivery. • You are a builder - You love building the foundations for success and get satisfaction from shipping features
  • You are pragmatic - You know when to reach for the bleeding-edge solution and when to use a known reliable solution
  • You can work with ambiguity - You can take vague requirements and turn them into a clear set of actionable deliverables
  • You value progress over perfection - You understand that shipping 80% of value today is often better than waiting for 100% perfection next month. You focus on delivering outcomes not just perfect code.

Requirements

  • Experience building full-stack applications using TypeScript and modern standards and practices
  • Experience with React / (ideally with App Router)
  • Experience with based backends (e.g. Serverless Functions / Lambda / )
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases plus ORMs (Prisma / Drizzle)
  • Automated testing (e.g. Jest / Playwright / Cypress)
  • Secure development practices
  • Experience using Git based source control
  • Organisation and time management skills

Nice to haves

  • Experience with messaging and event driven systems (e.g. ServiceBus / SQS)
  • DevOps CI Pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • 25 days holiday entitlement, increasing to 30 days over 5 years of service
  • An additional day off for your birthday
  • Smart Pension with employer contributions
  • Regular company social events
  • Modern office in the heart of Bristol with access to a Gym, Yoga and regular events
