Job description

Do you have an inquisitive mindset? Can you analyse information, and spot when something isn't quite right? You could utilise these skills by joining our IT Solutions team as a Junior QA Tester, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications and systems.

In this entry-level position, you will:

  • Execute test cases across various platforms and environments
  • Identify, document, and report software defects
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to resolve issues
  • Help maintain high-quality standards for all deliverables

Full time hours: 35 per week, * Identify Test target, Identify Test ideas

  • Define test details, assessment and traceability needs
  • Determine test (Expected) results
  • Structure the test implementation
  • Define testability elements
  • Implement Tests and Test Suites
  • Execute Test Suite
  • Analyse Test Failure
  • Report Defects and Test outcomes
  • Follow the processes and procedures within the team and department

Requirements

  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate (desirable)
  • Computer Science or IT degree (desirable)

Essential skills:

  • Good knowledge of MS Office products

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • 1 to 2 years testing experience (Manual or Automation) and/or Experience of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) / Post Implementation Testing
