Senior Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern data architecture solutions for a large-scale transformation programme. This role involves shaping data strategy, ensuring best practices, and enabling secure, scalable, and interoperable data solutions across complex systems, with a strong focus on AI integration, healthcare data standards, and data transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into robust data architecture solutions aligned with organisational priorities and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other data architects, supporting the development of data dictionaries, governance standards, and reusable patterns.
• Champion data standards in healthcare, ensuring compliance and interoperability across systems.
• Collaborate with technical architects and engineering teams to embed data principles into cloud-native and hybrid system designs.
• Advocate for data as a strategic asset, promoting approaches such as data-as-a-product and enabling secure, lawful, and trusted data sharing.
• Design and evolve modern data models and metadata frameworks that enable interoperability, scalability, and ethical data sharing across platforms.

• Healthcare data standards and experience with healthcare data transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in data architecture.

• Data governance: Experience defining and evolving governance frameworks and assuring data services.
