Job description

The IT Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of infrastructure-focused projects, working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers. This is a hands-on delivery role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and technical teams., * Deliver projects through the full lifecycle, including design, supplier onboarding, planning, build, test, deployment and lessons learned.

  • Manage internal project teams and external suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Create and maintain MS Project plans, track dependencies and report progress against milestones.
  • Own and maintain RAID logs, driving resolution of issues and mitigation of risks.
  • Engage technical teams and stakeholders, providing clear and consistent updates.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with IT, business teams and vendors to define requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Produce regular reporting on project status, budgets and forward planning.
  • Lead, motivate and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
  • Manage service introduction and handover to support teams, including documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience delivering infrastructure-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure design, implementation and service transition.
  • Proven experience managing external suppliers/outsourced service providers.
  • Background in a professional services environment.
  • PRINCE2 (or equivalent) certification.
  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies., * Experience within legal or wider professional services sectors.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure) and SaaS delivery models.
  • Understanding of application design and the software development lifecycle.
