Job description
- Serve as the internal System Owner for all BC environments (Dev, Test, Prod), managing system integrity, lifecycle, and health.
- Implement and enforce IT General Controls (ITGC), conform and adopt to enterprise wide change management processes and best-practice DevOps/Deployment processes to ensure compliant, secure, and controlled releases of configurations and code.
- Configuring and customising standard Business Central functionalities, forms, reports, and workflows according to business requirements.
- Designing and developing customisations, extensions, and integrations within the Dynamics 365 Business Central platform to meet specific business requirements.
- Act as the Product Owner for the BC platform. Own, prioritise, and manage the system roadmap and backlog, defining and translating business needs into detailed user stories and requirements.
- Lead basic setup and training for new users and handle complex user issues.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central, including functional configuration, finance modules, and understanding of the technical architecture (environments, extensions, integrations).
- Experience owning a backlog, writing detailed user stories, and prioritising work based on business value.
- Proven experience managing IT General Controls and Active Directory environments and familiarity with robust DevOps/ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) processes for D365 BC deployments. Strong knowledge of C\AL, and experience with AL.
- A good level of competence with analysis tools such as PowerBI and providing actionable intelligence dashboards and report for senior stakeholders.
