DevOps and Automation Engineer

Deliver DevOps and automation capability across Enterprise Change initiatives.

Improve deployment, release, automation, and infrastructure processes.

Act as a senior, hands-on engineer who can operate independently.

Support the organisation's evolution toward AI-driven automation and Agentic AI, learning and applying these on the job., * Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Automate and improve deployment and release processes.

Support hybrid infrastructure, including on-prem (majority) and AWS cloud platforms.

Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible.

Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Product Owners, project teams, and DevOps leadership.

Contribute to platform enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives during quieter periods.

Drive agentic-first automation, reusable end-to-end automation, and Automation-as-a-Service (AaaS).

Maintain and support AI/automation solutions in production

Embed security and compliance by design across automation and deployments.

Exposure to ephemeral environments and automation concepts.

Support and upskill in Agentic AI / AI-driven automation initiatives.

AI/automation will increasingly form part of the workload, though the role is not purely AI-focused.
