Job description
This is a broad, hands-on position combining business analysts' skills with project activities and IFS Cloud ERP delivery. You will work closely with experienced IFS consultants, office staff, production teams, and senior management across multiple business units to ensure our new IFS Cloud ERP solution is implemented smoothly and well adopted by the business., Involved with fit-gap analysis and understanding and preparing functional design documentation (Book of Rules)., Responsible for taking over the configuration and ownership of the solution (supported by the IFS consultants) during the implementation and go live lifecycle:
Continuing the set-up, configuration, and maintaining the IFS ERP Solution.
Ownership of the continued creation and maintenance of configuration documentation (Book of Rules).
Creating and executing further test scenarios, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Diagnosing and resolving testing problems, software configuration, and basic issues.
Owning the cleansing, transformation and reconciliation of specific data in line with agreed data strategies.
Compiling business change documentation / videos and execution of End User training sessions., Providing system training and support to users across the business, including senior management.
Requirements
This role would suit a graduate or early-career candidate with a strong interest in IT systems, data, and how technology supports operations.
You may have experience in some (not all) of the following:
An IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data, or Engineering-related degree.
Strong general IT knowledge (hardware, software, Windows environments).
Exposure to / understanding of IFS applications or other ERP solutions.
SQL knowledge (queries, joins, basic reporting).
Experience with reporting or data analysis tools (for example Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar).
Exposure structured data sets and migration.
A logical, problem-solving mindset.
Confidence communicating with non-technical users.
Interest in ERP, MRP, or manufacturing systems (training will be provided).
Desirable but not essential
Any exposure to legacy reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
Basic scripting or automation experience (for example Python, VBA, PowerShell).
Experience gained through placement years, internships, or projects.
