Join our dynamic IT team as a Junior IT Support Engineer., This is a great opportunity to join our newly formed internal IT team and grow your career in a supportive, hands on environment. As a Junior IT Support Engineer, you will provide day-to-day technical support, assist with system setups, and help maintain a secure and efficient IT infrastructure. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, learn new tools and technologies. Plus, enjoy a collaborative, flexible, and innovative work culture where your ideas are valued., * 1st Line Support: Initial contact (face to face, online and/or over the phone) for all technical support for hardware and software issues including Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ticket Management: Log and track support requests and incidents, ensuring timely and clear communication.
- Escalation: Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when needed.
- User account Management: New user set up of accounts, and configure laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. Regular user account management including offboarding.
- Documentation: Create and manage IT documentation and knowledge based articles alongside asset management.
- Business Support: working on project based assignments as required and any other requirements that the business may require.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in technology and keen to learn. You should have a basic understanding of IT systems like Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure, and enjoy solving problems and helping others with IT related issues. If you've worked with tools like Intune or Virtual Desktop, that's a bonus. Most importantly, we're after someone who's proactive, communicates well, and wants to grow as part of a friendly, supportive team., * Basic understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint..
- Familiarity with troubleshooting common IT issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
