Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team in London. The primary role of this position is to provide onsite and remote technical support to our London office employees. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our local IT infrastructure and providing timely assistance to our staff., * Onsite Support : Provide direct, hands-on IT support to employees in the London office, addressing a wide range of hardware and software issues.

Asset Management :

  • Image, configure, and deploy laptops and other IT equipment to employees across Europe.

  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of IT equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery.

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all local office IT assets. Help Desk & Incident Management :

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, resolving incident tickets.

  • Provide support to our global workforce by answering phone calls and addressing remote support requests.

  • Handle software installation and configuration requests. Employee Training :

  • Conduct IT training for new hires, covering the company's corporate systems, software, and IT policies.

  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to employees on best practices for using company technology. Technical Support :

  • Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues, including hardware failures, software glitches, network connectivity problems, and printing issues.

  • Provide remote support to employees as needed using remote desktop tools. Collaboration :

  • Work closely with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and contribute to a collaborative problem-solving environment.

  • Communicate effectively with employees and management to keep them informed of support status and potential issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT support or help desk role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair (laptops, desktops, peripherals).

  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with asset management and inventory tracking is a plus. Preferred Skills

  • Experience with a global IT support environment.

  • Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).

  • Relevant IT certifications.
