Job description

Are you a Senior Tester with a passion for data, automation, and cloud technologies? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Digital Data Consultancy working on a high-profile Government programme that genuinely makes a difference.

You'll play a key role in delivering robust end-to-end and regression test automation within a complex data environment, while helping shape testing best practices for critical public-sector systems.

With a strong global presence across the UK, USA, Germany, Austria, and India, the consultancy is continuing to expand its European operations. The role is remote-based, with occasional travel to their London offices.

BPSS clearance will be required for this role.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and delivering automated tests for system, end-to-end, and regression testing
  • Testing ETL processes and data pipelines within an AWS environment
  • Creating and maintaining automation frameworks and test packs
  • Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery

Requirements

You'll bring strong hands-on experience and a proactive mindset, including:

  • Proven experience in test automation
  • Deep knowledge of ETL testing and data pipelines on AWS
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, DynamoDB
  • Strong skills in SQL and Python
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
