Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the housing community? We're on the hunt for a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Data Officer to join our amazing IT team at Fairhive! If you enjoy helping others, working in a supportive environment, and contributing to meaningful projects, this could be the perfect role for you., Our IT Data Officer will work with the Data Protection Officer to ensure our compliance with data protection legislation (including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). This involves supporting the development and implementation of data protection policies, procedures, and systems, as well as undertaking data governance and administration duties required to keep personal and sensitive data secure and compliant and accurate.
The role also involves preparing data quality reporting and working with the IT Business Systems Manager on raising awareness of any data issues.
You will be responsible for processing Data Subject Access Requests, Data Sharing and CCTV management and working on Data Quality Reporting and other data related projects.
Requirements
Sound knowledge of data protection legislation and best practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational, time management, administrative and prioritisation skills
Good IT skills, particularly in data management and security
Your contributions will help the team deliver on our goals and contribute to Fairhive's overall success. The role will require team work and collaboration so if you have previous relevant experience and a drive to succeed then we want to hear from you!
