Job description

Are you passionate about Microsoft Dynamics 365 and transforming business processes through technology? At Ground Control, we're looking for a D365 Systems Analyst to join our team and play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimising our Customer Engagement (CE) modules including Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing.

In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, configure and customise Dynamics 365 CE, and deliver solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and exceptional customer engagement. You'll also provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure our teams get the most out of D365.

What You'll Do

  • Configure, customise, and support Dynamics 365 CE modules using workflows, C# plugins, Power Automate, business rules, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using D365 capabilities.
  • Support data integration, migration, and reporting activities.
  • Deliver system enhancements and new features, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end-users and colleagues.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 roadmap.
  • Participate in discovery sessions to understand current processes, identify gaps, and design creative solutions.
  • Support legacy data migration and ensure proper mapping into D365 CE.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Systems Analyst working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
  • Practical knowledge of Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and Dataverse.
  • Ability to configure entities, forms, workflows, business rules, dashboards, and create/update C# plugins.
  • Understanding of customer journeys, lead management, case management, and campaign automation.
  • Strong experience writing user stories with clear definitions of done.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience conducting GAP analyses and working within an Agile delivery model.
  • Ability to train and share knowledge with colleagues.

Desirable Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Marketing real-time journeys and segmentation.
  • Familiarity with Azure services, API integrations, and custom connectors.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-210, MB-220, MB-230, MB-910, PL-200, PL-400, PL-900).
  • Experience in Agile or hybrid project environments.
