Solution Architect (Payments Experience)

• Design and deliver AWS-based solution architectures aligned to business and technical requirements
• Lead solution design across payments systems, including integrations, security, and transaction processing
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure robust end-to-end solutions
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical designs
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability, availability)
• Provide technical leadership throughout the delivery life cycle

• Extensive experience as an AWS Solution Architect on complex platforms
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS services (eg EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Aurora, IAM, CloudWatch)
• Proven experience working with payments systems or financial transaction platforms
• Solid understanding of API integrations and event-driven architectures
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and resilience patterns
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Desirable

• Experience in high-availability/high-transaction environments
• Exposure to large enterprise or regulated programmes
• AWS certifications (Associate or Professional)
