SAP Finance Transformation Delivery Architect

The SAP Finance Transformation - Technology Delivery Lead is accountable for driving the successful end-to-end delivery of SAP Finance transformation initiatives, with particular focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury, and SAP BTP. This role acts as the technology delivery owner across complex Finance programmes - ensuring solution design, data, integrations, testing, and deployment activities are aligned, orchestrated, and delivered effectively.

Your responsibilities

Programme & Delivery Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end technology delivery of SAP Finance transformation programmes including S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Group Reporting, and Treasury.

• Own and manage integrated delivery plans across design, build, integrations, data migration, testing, and cutover.

• Drive governance, RAID management, scope control, and dependency tracking.

Technology & Solution Alignment

• Ensure SAP Finance solutions align to enterprise architecture standards.

• Validate technical designs and non-functional requirements.

• Translate Finance business requirements into structured delivery outcomes.

Data, Integration & Environment Management

• Oversee Finance data migration cycles and quality gates.

• Coordinate integration build/testing across CPI, APIs, banking, tax engines.

• Manage landscape planning and environment readiness.

Vendor & Partner Governance

• Manage system integrators and partners to quality and SLAs.

• Support design reviews and solution validation.

Testing, Cutover & Release Readiness

• Lead SIT, UAT, regression and performance testing cycles.

• Own cutover planning and deployment readiness.

• Ensure documentation and training materials are complete.

Finance Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as primary technology interface to Finance process owners.

• Provide reporting and readiness assessments.

Experience delivering SAP Finance transformation programmes.

• Strong understanding of Finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, Treasury).

• Expertise in SAP technical delivery: data, integrations, cloud.

• Strong governance and communication skills.

• Hybrid/cloud SAP experience.

Desirable

• SAP RISE experience.

• Knowledge of BRF+, BTP, Group Reporting.

• SAP/PMI/Prince2 certifications.

• Regulated or global delivery experience.
