Job description
Change Connect are looking for an Junior Telephony engineer to join our expanding team at our Colchester office. This is an in house role which will require visits to site. Full training will be given. The primary role of a Junior Telephony Engineer is to provide an initial response to tickets logged across the Managed Services voice portfolio, this includes areas such as:
- Cloud Telephony Support
- On Premise Telephony Support
- Front line support
In technological areas such as:
- Voip
- SIP
- Call recording
- On premise systems
- Connectivity - Ethernet, FTTP, FTTC.
What will you do?
- Deliver a high standard of support to customers.
- Work as part of a team to achieve SLA's on initial and fix response.
- Quick and accurate assessment of a technical issues with a view to escalate if required.
- Completion of tasks or activities with attention to detail/outcome.
Requirements
Do you have experience in VoIP?, * Someone willing to train from a junior role.
- Experience in working in the telecommunications industry is an advantage but not essential.
- Structured cabling experience (cat5, cat6,cat6a and cat7) is an advantage but not essential.
