Job description
This role suits someone who enjoys being close to the product, collaborating regularly with designers and engineers, and working on-site as part of a hands-on delivery team. The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in developing and evolving a core iOS application, with a strong focus on usability, performance and visual polish. The work involves both feature delivery and continuous improvement, with real influence over how the product looks and feels., * Developing and maintaining native iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI
- Translating UI/UX designs into intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences
- Working closely with design and product teams to refine user flows and interactions
- Integrating APIs and collaborating with backend engineers
- Contributing to code quality, best practices and technical discussions
- Supporting testing, releases and ongoing optimisation of the iOS app
Requirements
The client is seeking a developer with solid commercial experience who is confident owning iOS features end-to-end.
Key requirements:
- 4-5 years' experience developing native iOS applications
- Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI (and Swift) in production environments
- Demonstrable UI/UX skills, with a good eye for layout, interaction and usability
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- A pragmatic, detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering polished user experiences, This role is based in Cheshire East with a strong on-site presence. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
