Job description
- Support the shift from traditional BI to a modern, AI-ready analytics platform
- Design and deliver Power BI dashboards focused on trends, forecasting, and operational insight rather than historic reporting
- Work with stakeholders across operations, finance, and technology to understand data challenges and define analytics solutions
- Transform, model, and optimise data to improve quality, consistency, and usability
- Enable predictive and proactive analytics to support demand planning, performance forecasting, and decision-making
- Collaborate with data engineers and AI specialists to ensure analytics outputs are scalable and future-proof
- Contribute to best practices around data governance and data quality
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst on transformation-led programmes
- Strong experience moving organisations away from reactive BI towards proactive, insight-driven analytics
- Advanced Power BI experience (DAX, data modelling, performance optimisation)
- Strong SQL skills with experience handling large, complex datasets
- Experience supporting or enabling forecasting, predictive analytics, or AI use cases
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Comfortable working autonomously in a contract environment
Desirable / Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, etc.)
- Exposure to Python or R for data analysis or advanced analytics
- Experience working in logistics, supply chain, or similar operational environments
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
