Desktop Engineer

• Handle incoming technical incidents, service requests and change activities
• Manage personal call queue and close tickets within agreed SLAs
• Provide clear updates and maintain ongoing customer communication
• Resolve issues ranging from simple password resets to complex server and infrastructure queries
• Escalate issues to third line teams where appropriate
• Work as part of a close knit, highly skilled engineering team
• Collaborate with third line technical delivery, development and project teams
• Perform software builds and rebuilds on PCs and laptops
• Diagnose and resolve hardware faults and carry out hardware upgrades
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service in a secure environment

We are recruiting SC Cleared Duty Technicians to support the smooth and secure operation of critical supply chain and technical services. This is a hands on operational role for individuals who are detail focused, technically competent, and comfortable working in a secure, shift based environment., * Minimum 5 years unbroken UK residency

• Must already hold SC clearance and be eligible for NPPV3
• Strong technical troubleshooting capability across hardware and software
• Experience working within IT service management or operational support functions
• Willingness to work 12 hour rotating shifts, including nights
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable operating in a controlled environment
