Job description

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of ICT systems. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of networked systems and servers within a mission-critical environment. The position requires strong technical expertise, adherence to cybersecurity protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues while supporting training systems and operational readiness.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Technical Expertise in managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

  • Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and Defence ICT security compliance.

  • Experience with patch management and system hardening processes.

  • Skilled in system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

  • Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems.

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Competence in backup and disaster recovery planning.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).

  • Professional certifications such as:

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and user training.

  • Ability to work independently and in team environments under strict security protocols.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
