Job description
to support the provisioning, operation, and continuous optimization of our Linux-based IT infrastructure. This role plays a key part in ensuring system performance, security, and scalability across the enterprise, while driving automation and supporting end users in a global environment. Main Responsibilities: Linux Server Provisioning & Management
- Install, configure, and manage Linux servers to ensure a stable and efficient IT environment
- Plan and implement new servers and maintain existing systems
Patch & Security Management
- Perform regular updates and patching to ensure system security and stability
- Monitor security bulletins and implement patches in a timely manner
- Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities through analysis, monitoring, and preventive measures
Global IT Systems Logging Platform
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive logging platform using Elasticsearch and Logstash
- Ensure reliable collection, indexing, and storage of log data from various IT systems
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance and availability of the logging infrastructure
System Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization
- Perform regular updates, configuration changes, and maintenance activities
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to system performance, log data collection, processing, and storage
- Analyze server performance and implement optimization measures to ensure high availability and efficiency
End User Support & Automation
- Advise and support end users on server infrastructure needs and technical questions
- Provide training to ensure effective use of server resources
- Automate recurring tasks and complex processes using scripting and tooling

Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Ideally several years of experience in Linux server administration, preferably in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and related technologies is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu) and virtualization technologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation
- Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Strong security awareness and experience handling security vulnerabilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to end users
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues
