IoT NTN Test Engineer

Responsible for providing technical support to IoT VAS companies in both lab and field environments, including occasional travel to the partner's country when on-site assistance is required, * Provide hands-on technical support to Value-Added Service (VAS) companies integrating IoT NTN technology, both in the lab and during field deployments. Assist VAS partners with device setup, testing, and troubleshooting throughout their validation and onboarding phases.

• Travel to partner or pilot sites when necessary to support field activities and ensure successful integration.
• Guide VAS partners in the use of test environments, network access, and configuration of communication modules.
• Collect, analyze, and report test results to ensure proper system behavior and service performance.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to resolve integration issues and improve partner experience.
• Contribute to documentation and improvement of technical support processes for VAS integration., You will be part of one the fastest-growing start-ups in Spain with global reach along getting into the challenging world of New Space & Telecommunication.

• Degree in Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience working with IoT communication modules (e.g., Nordic, Quectel, u-blox) and configuring AT Commands.
• Knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, VPN).
• Experience in telecom lab environments for setup, testing, and validation of devices.
• Ability to interpret and analyze logs, including modem logs, Wireshark traces, and device outputs.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation or data processing are a plus.
• Basic Linux user skills.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and spoken (English required; other languages are a plus).
• Customer- and partner-oriented mindset, with the ability to guide third parties through technical processes effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Autonomous and proactive, able to work in fast-paced and evolving technical environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support and partner engagement.
• Good level of English (spoken and written) is essential; additional languages are a plus.

NICE TO HAVE

• Understanding of mobile and satellite communication protocols, including NB-IoT, LTE-M, 3GPP NTN, and LEO technologies.
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network simulators, protocol analyzers, etc.
