Senior Software Engineer - Backend, Cloud

We are looking for Senior Software Engineers (f/m/x) to act as trusted technical leaders, driving decisions that shape our teams, product, and business forward.

You will work with a high degree of autonomy, turning high-level goals into technical plans, leading the design and execution of complex systems, and mentoring junior engineers to raise the bar across the team.

• Design and develop features that deliver real-world value.
• Turn high-level goals into actionable technical plans without close supervision.
• Make informed trade-offs across technical complexity, ROI, user impact, and time-to-market.
• Act as a go-to engineer, helping peers navigate difficult technical problems.
• Lead design and architecture discussions with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
• Deliver outcomes that impact product and business metrics, not just technical outputs.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, feedback, and guidance.
• Contribute to team culture by sharing knowledge and raising engineering standards.
• Advocate for clarity when the "why" is unclear, keeping the team focused on the most valuable problems.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• 6+ years of development experience in a strongly typed language (Typescript, Java, .NET, PHP). We operate in Go and React, and believe a seasoned engineer with strong fundamentals can adapt quickly.

• Proven ability to take initiative, solve complex problems, and deliver in ambiguous environments.

• Strong knowledge of APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Skilled at breaking down complex problems into practical, actionable solutions.

• Strong engineering skills with an analytical mindset and product awareness, making decisions that deliver the greatest impact.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluency in English is a must.
