Job description

This role is instrumental in ensuring outstanding user experience, maintainability, and security across digital platforms. Working closely with UX Designers, Software Engineers, and Solution Architects, the engineer will translate design concepts into functional interfaces, optimise application performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the front-end framework., * Building responsive, accessible, high-performing web applications

  • Designing reusable front-end components using React.js + TypeScript
  • Developing AEM front-end components, including HTL (HTML Template Library) and Apache Sling
  • Integrating React front-end modules with AEM Sling Models
  • Translating UX/UI designs into functional interfaces
  • Integrating with RESTful / GraphQL APIs
  • Ensuring web security, authentication, and session management best practices
  • Optimising for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS or Azure)
  • Working within Agile teams and participating in sprint ceremonies

Requirements

  • Alongside experience from the JD (React, TypeScript, CI/CD, AWS/Azure, testing), you must bring:
  • AEM & Enterprise Web Skills
  • Adobe AEM front-end development
  • Apache Sling / AEM HTL (HTML Template Library)
  • Experience integrating React with AEM Sling Models
  • Working within enterprise CMS-driven architectures
  • Core Technical Skills
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
  • React.js & TypeScript
  • State management (Redux / Zustand)
  • API integration (REST / GraphQL)
  • Version control using Git
  • Front-end testing (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
  • Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills
