Design Engineer

Design Engineer / CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer based in Dorset.

The successful Design Engineer / CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer shall be designing and developing bespoke electromechanical / automated components and machinery for projects within engineering, automotive, packaging machinery, and more., * Designing and developing bespoke electromechanical / automated components and machinery for projects within engineering, automotive, packaging machinery, and more.

• Creating detailed CAD models and schematics, performing engineering calculations, and supporting testing, commissioning, and integration within complex projects.
• Perform mechanical engineering calculations, simulations, and system checks to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.
• Liaise with various engineering department to integrate bespoke electromechanical automated systems into overall project designs.
• Site based in Dorset, We serve as a bridge between candidates and clients, working tirelessly to identify the ideal fit and assist them throughout the recruitment process. The Design Engineer / CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer will have proven experience using SolidWorks to design mechanical engineering products / solutions., * Experience as Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, CAD Technician, Design Technician, or similar within mechanical engineering / manufacturing.

• Proficiency in 3D design software such as SolidWorks
• Mechanical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, including fluid dynamics, mechanical systems, and component integration.
• Site based daily in Dorset
