Job description
- Mobilising and driving forward our information protection programme, including preparing required documentation / presentations etc.
- This programme will involve technology, process, people related changes to our information protection controls this is a critical programme of work, involving multiple specific projects
- Programme scope overs data leakage prevention, data identification / classification, data retention and other supporting activities
- Expectation that wider support may be required from the individual to support the development of DLP response and investigation processes (e.g. if there was a suspected data leak)
- Expectation that individual will support the development of security governance documentation relating to the control enhancements (e.g. supporting the creation / update of Data Security standard)
Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP or CISM)
- Strong knowledge of data leakage prevention technology
- Experience of deploying or enhancing DLP controls not only technology, but also people and process components
- Experience of deploying or enhancing information classification controls across a Microsoft estate
- Familiarity with MS technology e.g. Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA) or any information protection tools
- Awareness / experience with data privacy and legal related considerations when deploying these sorts of controls (e.g. privacy legislation, HR considerations)
- Ability to drive projects forward as a lead to drive projects forward with little oversight
- Good stakeholder management skills there is a big people/comms aspect to the information protection programme, so someone comfortable engaging with colleagues and preparing good quality communications
