Job description
The Transformation Consultant will join the Results Delivery Office (RDO) within Corporate Strategy, which provides leadership, governance and oversight of SJP's strategic transformation agenda. Working closely with senior RDO leaders, this role supports the effective orchestration, prioritisation and delivery of enterprise-wide change, ensuring clear value delivery, robust governance and high-quality executive reporting to SteerCo, ExCo and Board-level forums across St. James's Place., * Lead the preparation of high-quality executive-level reporting, including RDO SteerCo packs and updates for Group Executive Committee and Board forums.
- Manage RDO SteerCo governance, including agenda planning, paper coordination, minutes and action tracking.
- Support senior RDO colleagues across the transformation lifecycle, including programme orchestration, prioritisation, business case development, value identification and tracking, and issue management.
- Provide oversight and challenge for strategic programmes and, where required, take accountability for smaller transformation initiatives.
- Identify and support the management of cross-programme interdependencies and risks.
- Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across SJP to enable effective insight gathering and constructive challenge.
- Lead and contribute to internal RDO reporting and analysis as required.
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and analytically strong transformation professional who is comfortable operating in a complex, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be confident engaging with senior stakeholders, able to synthesise large volumes of information into clear executive insights and motivated by supporting strategic change across SJP. They will demonstrate strong judgement, adaptability and a collaborative mindset, with a clear focus on value delivery and good customer outcomes., * Experience supporting or delivering transformation initiatives within a complex organisation.
- Strong ability to produce clear, concise executive-level reporting for senior governance forums.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including structuring ambiguous problems and identifying practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across multiple business areas.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the UK wealth management market and relevant regulatory environment.
- Experience supporting programme orchestration, value tracking or transformation governance.
- Advanced capability in PowerPoint, Word and Excel for executive reporting and analysis.
