Job description
As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for 2nd level partner and support services within the EMEA region. This position works closely with the Line 1 Service Desk and other delivery teams for incident resolution and service request implementation. Key responsibilities include management and maintenance of the Network Operating Centre (NOC), as well as partner and customer technical onboarding. What you'll do :
- Work on the 2nd level Service Desk to resolve partner and end-user incidents across our managed and support services. Install/uninstall, troubleshoot, perform data recovery, and maintain applications, products, and equipment.
- Provide coaching guidance to 1st Level Service Desk agents.
- Escalate incidents to the next level and vendor support when the solution is unknown.
- Manage and maintain the Network Operating Centre (NOC), ensuring security and availability are maintained, customer environments are accurately monitored, and Service Desk tools remain functional.
Requirements
- Fluent or native Spanish speaker; English B2 / C1 (verbal and written communication)
- At least 3 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewall technologies
- One or more of the following industry certifications: CompTIA Security+, SSCP, PCNSA/E, CCNA/P, JNCIA-SEC, JNCIS-SEC, JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-ENT, CCSA, CCSE, or equivalent vendor/industry certification.
