Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide operational support for Microsoft platforms and VMware virtualization infrastructure. Members of the Enterprise Systems team are dedicated to providing reliable, flexible core infrastructure services that provide the backbone to the firm's trading activities., * Extensive experience with management of virtualization infrastructure (VMware ESX/vCenter).

• Administer core Microsoft services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange/Exchange Online, Group Policy.
• Deploy and support Windows Server 2016-2025.
• Provide support for Microsoft cloud services such as Entra ID, OneDrive, Copilot, etc.
• Configuration of single-sign federation on using protocols such as SAML, OIDC/OAuth, and SCIM.
• Deploy and support Omnissa (VMware) Horizon VDI infrastructure.
• Triage and action operations work in a ticket queue.
• Support planned and ad-hoc changes initiated within and outside the team, following firmwide change management processes.
• Document systems and specialized configurations for ease of support within the team.

Do you have experience in vCenter?, * 6+ years of experience administering Windows Server or VMware and associated services.

• Experience using scripting/coding languages (i.e. PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with coding version control systems (Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, etc)
• Must have excellent documentation and knowledge management skills, passion for turning ad-hoc actions into documented, repeatable processes.
• Experience maintaining/deploying/configuring server hardware and deploying virtual machines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues in a high-intensity trading environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to learn, and passion for learning new technologies.
• Be part of a global support team with on-call rotation, with weekend maintenance work as required.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with deployment and management of VMware Cloud Foundation a plus
• Previous experience working in the trading industry a plus.
• Basic knowledge of containerization/Kubernetes a plus.
