Job description
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work on systems design, integration and test activities across multiple projects. The Senior Systems Engineer will collaborate with software, mechanical and electrical teams, while also supporting and mentoring junior engineers. Key responsibilities include:
- Systems design, integration and test as a Senior Systems Engineer
- Working across the full product and systems lifecycle
- Producing clear technical documentation, specifications and reports
- Supporting junior engineers through mentoring and technical guidance
- Engaging with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Contributing across multiple projects as requirements change The Senior Systems Engineer role is based in Enfield and will involve some business travel depending on project needs.
Requirements

Degree qualified in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics, or equivalent experience

Experience in systems engineering, integration and test

Broad understanding of software, mechanical and electrical disciplines

Strong communication skills with a high standard of written English

Willingness to travel for business requirements

Full UK driving licence

Eligible to apply for UK Security Clearance Desirable Experience

Exposure to radar or radio-based systems

Experience across the full product lifecycle

Knowledge of external testing and verification standards

Experience with communications protocols such as TCP/IP, RS232 or CANBus
