Workplace Technology Technician

The Technician is responsible for delivering a roadmap of improvements, as well as maintaining a razor sharp focus on the end user experience and aligning our core device roadmap strategy at JET.

As a Technician, you will use your own skills to ensure JET remains up to date with current and emerging technologies. Additionally, working with the Workplace Technology team leads, you'll help to deliver the technical roadmap for the coming months and years for your team.

The role requires a highly organised, well-rounded and upbeat person who can hit the ground running and build collaborative relationships to support the dynamic environment we operate in where speed to market is a critical component of success.

At Just Eat Takeaway.com, the Technician is responsible for ensuring that all of the technical roadmap objectives are planned and delivered. Whilst the Technician need not be expert in all disciplines, they should have sufficient working knowledge to be able to support and challenge peers

• Contributing to the delivery of the Workplace Technology roadmap
• Working closely with Senior Technicians, Team Leads and Technology Managers within Enterprise IT to help ensure we are supporting each other on processes and delivery of objectives, within all disciplines in Enterprise IT
• Work on hardware profiling and building testing in line with corporate policies
• Contribute to the introduction of new technologies into the business, following internal processes and ensuring we lead the way in our technology solutions
• Proactively identifying weaknesses and making improvements

• Experience working with core systems, AD, Azure AD
• Strong Knowledge of Windows 11 and upgrade paths
• Experience managing technical projects and deployments
• Knowledge of industry leading technologies:

• Jamf (300 or higher desired)
• Microsoft Intune
• Google Device Management

• Some knowledge of scripting languages:

• PowerShell
• Bash
• Python
• HTML

• Ability to foster good working relationships between teams in a complex organisational environment
• Ability to react real world security scenarios, i.e. bugs/malware and develop fixes in real-time
• A strong track record of personal development of yourself
