Job description

And we're making radical social change a reality so that nobody gets left behind. We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Support Analyst to work in the Security Operations Centre. In this role you'll play a crucial role in protecting Camden schools digital data and assets and maintaining its security posture.

What You'll Be Doing / How You'll Be Involved

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive data in Camden schools, supporting the efficient use of Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.

In this role you will investigate security alerts/incidents and breaches and respond promptly to mitigate potential threats. Implement security measures for Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace environments and also perform regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and strategize their mitigation, ensuring potential security gaps are identified and addressed.

You will also work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of security measures with organizational goals and develop and enforce security policies and procedures related to Office 365 and Google Workspace usage. You will also provide guidance on security awareness and best practices for using Office 365 and Google Workspace securely., * 27 days annual leave for new starters, rising to 31 days after 5 years

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst with a focus on cloud environments, specifically Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace. You will have relevant professional certifications and experience to demonstrate your capabilities and fit for the role.

Direct experience in using enterprise security tools such as firewalls, endpoint protection, email filters, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other relevant systems.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field or equivalent experience.

The ideal candidate will be a good problem solver, who can work on their own initiative and with others to identify creative and innovative solutions. You will also be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work and have excellent organizational skills to manage a varied workload. You will also need to keep up to date with current threat trends and use that to the benefit of our organisation and its goals.
