Job description

As a Lead Product Interface Designer, you'll work within the multi-disciplinary Industrial Design Team in King's Cross, London, alongside other designers, creative technologists and engineer to invent, prototype and ship the technology of the future.

Requirements

The right candidate might have trained in Industrial Design, Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Graphic Design or Human Factors. But today you will be an incredible digital craftsperson whose bread-and-butter is creating boundary-pushing graphics, UI concepts and motion.

You will also have strong professional experience interfacing with the hardware domain. You may have designed interaction systems feature tactile controls such as buttons and dials, or designed for small wearable displays. As a hardware company, this experience is a non-negotiable.

You'll be responsible for running projects independently, managing your own schedule and tasks, and defining the technical product requirements in order that your work can become reality., * Creative and collaborative problem solving

  • Excellent visual and verbal communication
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Confidence designing for a brand with bold aesthetic direction and a clear vision
  • Amazing collaboration skills
  • Great taste

As a Lead Product Interface Designer we'll expect:

  • World-class concept-generation and digital design skills, with the ability to craft pixel-perfect assets.
  • Wizard-level at both Figma and After Effects.
  • A hunger to research, conceive, specify and pitch new interaction systems, novel features, and whole product concepts.
  • Experience designing interaction systems that intersect hardware and software - this is not just a digital design job
  • A product person who can speak some of the same language as engineers (software + hardware) in order to communicate clearly and solve problems together
  • Project management skills.

Most of all, we're looking for creative people who see the world like we do. If you think that's you, please get in touch.
