Job description
As the Director, Team Lead for Data & Insights Enablement - International markets, you will report directly to the Senior Director, International Lead for Data Strategy and Management. You will be an integral member of the Global Commercial Analytics International Data Strategy Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring Data & Insights enablement across a subset of international markets.
You are managing a team who will be the go-to team for local market commercial data expertise across UK, Canada, Spain, Italy, ANZ, Korea and EM ASIA and LATAM clusters. Managing and ensuring the quality, accessibility, and compliance of local commercial data for analytics and reporting with a focus on CFC reporting.
In your role you will partner with CFC Performance Reporting Product Owner to ensure market feedback for future enhancement of CFC reporting solutions is captured, prioritized and implemented. Through your team you will drive adoption of CFC reporting solutions through collaboration with Sales Management., * Enable Insights and drive adoption of key reporting solutions and works closely with sales leadership and support questions on insights and KPIs and provide necessary training to Sales Leadership.
- Partner with CFC Reporting owner to drive further evolution of International CFC reporting solutions and partner with Operational Excellence Hub for adhoc reporting support.
- Managing a team of experts providing strategic data expertise for markets on what data to use across all commercial analytics use cases and proactively scout new data opportunities available on the market and ensures new data sets will be ingested in appropriate data products through Gateway teams.
- Ensures and enforces local regulatory standards and data-handling policies (e.g., GDPR, transparency reporting), partnering closely with legal, compliance and regional teams to maintain adherence to laws and internal guidelines.
- Through the team oversee operational stewardship managed by the hub by performing validations and maintenance on key commercial datasets (e.g., HCP, HCO, sales data, reference data) to ensure everyday data quality.
- Partners with Commercial, Digital, Compliance and other functions to ensure domain data meets business and regulatory needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required. Masters (or equivalent) preferred in business intelligence discipline.
- Extensive leadership experience in data stewardship, reporting, and analytics at an international level.
- Extensive expertise in the pharmaceutical data domain, including a deep understanding of data governance and standards.
- Strong technical proficiency in data architecture, modern data stacks, and enterprise data management platforms.
- Demonstrated success in a highly fast-paced setting and analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in managing conflicting project ideas and making tough decisions.
- Adept in cross-domain work and problem-solving.
