IT Systems & Network Administrator | Leeds (with travel to other UK sites)

We are looking for an IT Systems & Network Administrator to join this leading chemicals business.
You'll be part of a friendly, collaborative team that keeps business-critical IT running smoothly across multiple UK sites., This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll support and maintain IT systems and networks to ensure performance, security, and reliability. You'll also play a key part in IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new deployments., * Configuring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, VPNs, switches, routers, and wireless networks
- Providing both remote and on-site user support across multiple sites
- Managing system updates, patching, and performance monitoring
- Supporting infrastructure projects and collaborating with third-party suppliers
- Maintaining accurate documentation for systems and configurations
This role requires regular travel to other company sites, with occasional short-notice visits when urgent issues arise.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with:
- At least 3 years' experience in IT systems and network administration
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Good understanding of networking, routing, and switching protocols
- A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication
Desirable:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- Experience with scripting, automation, or ticketing systems
